Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Maksym Burtyn ("we", "us"), trading as MaxiFTW, collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you visit maxiftw.com (the "Site"), or contact us through it. We are based in Cyprus and follow the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Who we are
The data controller responsible for your personal data is:
- Maksym Burtyn
- Ko 7, 7080 Larnaca, Cyprus
- Email: contact@maxiftw.com
Operated as a sole individual, with no Cyprus VAT ID or company registration number has been issued at this time.
2. What data we collect
- Contact form data (maxiftw.com): the name, email address, project type, and message you submit so we can respond to your enquiry.
- Technical data: basic server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) created automatically when you load the Site, used for security and to keep the Site running.
- Analytics data: via Google Analytics, we collect approximate location, device/browser type, and pages visited to understand traffic on the Site.
3. Why we use it (legal basis)
We process contact-form data to respond to you and, where relevant, to enter into or perform a contract with you. We process technical data on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating a secure, functional website. Where required by law, we rely on your consent (for example, non-essential cookies).
4. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data only as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable follow-up period, after which it is deleted. Server logs are retained for a short period for security purposes.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We use trusted service providers to run the Site, who process data on our behalf:
- Hosting: Vercel
- Contact-form storage: Supabase
- Analytics: Google Analytics
- Content management: Prismic
These providers may process data outside the EU/EEA; where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you may access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, object to processing, and request data portability. To exercise any of these, email us at contact@maxiftw.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Cyprus data protection authority (Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection).
7. Cookies
maxiftw.com uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies to distinguish visitors and measure traffic. A light/dark mode preference is also stored locally on your device (not sent to us) and is not a cookie.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest version.
